I has been involved with Martial Arts training since 1982. Beginning with Shotokan karate training under Alex Charlmers and Steve Wilson in Harlow and later Roger Hall in Bishops Stortford.

All T.A.G.B. Instructors must pass an extensive two part Instructors course, including practical and written examinations on all aspects of coaching (including Child Protection and good practice) and First Aid Training. These qualifications are recognised by the Sports Council through our affiliation to the British Tae Kwon-Do Council the national Governing Body for TKD. All Instructors are (enhanced) CRB Police checked and carry full professional indemnity Insurance.


I am also a qualified Umpire and referee and regularly officiate at the various competitions held by the T.A.G.B. which included The World Championships in 2007 and 2010.
